Three Keys to Using Chat GPT

  1. ChatGPT Produces Language - Not Accurate Information or Knowledge
    • "ChatGPT is not connected to the internet, and it can occasionally produce incorrect answers. It has limited knowledge of world and events after 2021 and may also occasionally produce harmful instructions or biased content. We'd recommend checking whether responses from the model are accurate or not." (Open AI)
    • "ChatGPT will occasionally make up facts or “hallucinate” outputs." (Open AI)
  2. ChatGPT Is Not Private - Do Not Share Sensitive Information
    • "We are not able to delete specific prompts from your history. Please don't share any sensitive information in your conversations."  (Open AI)
    • "As part of our commitment to safe and responsible AI, we review conversations to improve our systems and to ensure the content complies with our policies and safety requirements." (Open AI)
  3. Using ChatGPT Is Training ChatGPT
    • "Your conversations may be reviewed by our AI trainers to improve our systems." (Open AI)
    • "When you use our non-API consumer services ChatGPT or DALL-E, we may use the data you provide us to improve our models. You can switch off training in ChatGPT settings (under Data Controls) to turn off training for any conversations created while training is disabled or you can submit this form. Once you opt out, new conversations will not be used to train our models." (Open AI)
