Citation-Sequence
The end citations are in the order of use within the paper. The first citation used is 1. the second is 2.
Citation-Name
List the end citations alphabetically by last name and then by title. These are numbered in this order.1 The 1 refers to the first item in the list of references alphabetically and by title.
In-text this will be written as a superscript 1 at the end of the sentence after the punctuation. If multiple sources are referenced, you can use this. 1-3,6,8 If there are several sources used, you can add the numbers 1,4,6 in the middle of the sentence.
Authors:
Authors are listed Last Name space First Initial [no space] Middle Initial. Surname FM
List authors 1-10 in full. After 10, use et al. or and others.
Date:
The date can be listed as
Year: 2012,
Year Month abbreviation: 2012 Dec
Year Month Day: 2012 Dec 12
Do not abbreviate Seasons, but they are placed after the year: 2012 Spring
Article Titles
Capitalize only the first letters of the first word and any proper nouns, and racial and ethnic group designations.
Journal Titles
Abbreviate the main words
Omit articles, conjunctions, and prepositions.
